COMMON APPLICATIONS
The Board & Batten panel is a high end steel siding profile. It’s hidden fastener system provides a highly desired aesthetic appeal. Board & Batten is available in 24 and 26 gauge material in any of our stock SMP colours as well as our stock woodgrain and textured colour options.
With a 3/4″ high batten, the panel also features a convenient nailing flange for easy installation with no clip system required. Board & Batten is available as a flat panel or to avoid the risk of oil canning, Board & Batten can also be run with a striation pattern.
The panel is used as a siding profile and can be installed vertically or horizontally.

The Board & Batten panel is relatively easy to install. Simply lay your first sheet The second sheet can be laid with one rib overlapping the first panel, as per the picture to the right, and follow that pattern for each corresponding panel. Pre Drilling sheets in bundles is not recommended during installation for any steel sheets as this can cause hot burs which can rust to the pre painted or bare sheet and create a rusting appearance around the drill holes.
